KSrelief Signs Agreement to Rehabilitate, Operate Anti-Epidemic Disease Emergency Center in Yemen

Riyadh, Dec 22, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) today signed an agreement to rehabilitate and operate the Emergency Center to Combat Epidemic Diseases ((3rd phase) in Hajjah of Yemen. The Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs at KSrelief Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz signed the agreement at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh. on the occasion, Deputy Director of Health and Environment Assistance Dr. Abdullah Al-Wadee said that this project aims at enhancing efforts of combating epidemic diseases and offering preliminary healthcare in Hairan District in Hajjah governorate by providing a database for the epidemiological detection system with statistical data. He also pointed out that the project includes operating the emergency center and offering diagnosis, treatment and quarantine services for those infected with epidemiological diseases, securing medicines, medical and preventive equipment and IV and laboratory fluids, in addition to combating epidemics through spraying, medical waste disposal and holding health awareness activities, where the project targets 62,000 individuals.
