Riyadh, November 25, 2021, SPA -- The 13th Annual Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) and 9th Summit of the ITU Arab Regional Cyber Security Center (ITU-ARCC) are concluded here yesterday at the headquarters of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA). During the two-day virtual events titled "CERTs in an Evolving Cybersecurity Landscape", a number of cybersecurity experts from various local, regional and international organizations took part in the two meetings. For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Fraih, NCA Deputy Governor for the Strategy Sector, indicated that the Kingdom ranked second out of 193 countries in the Global Cybersecurity Index, issued by the United Nations specialized agency in information and communication technologies (the International Telecommunication Union "ITU"). The participants discussed a number of issues pertaining to the tasks of computer emergency response teams and cybersecurity.
