Jeddah, November 29, 2021, SPA -- Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) Sunday signed an agreement with the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan for cooperation in computer technologies and sciences. Prospects of this cooperation included participation in offering proposal for MA and PhD theses, arbitrating MA and PhD theses, participating in holding specialized workshops and research symposiums in modern technological fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Italy, and exchanging expertise, where this agreement represents part of a wider memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in research and education between the King Abdulaziz University and the Polytechnic University of Milan, which is the leading technological university in Italy and is one of the best universities in the world in the fields of architectural, industrial and engineering designs according to international rankings. King Abdulaziz University, through its agreement with the prestigious Politecnico di Milano, aims at enhancing and developing the capabilities of its students and enriching their cognitive and research skills, mainly in the computing fields required in the labor market, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things. President of King Abdulaziz University Dr. Abdulrahman Obaid AI-Youbi said that the university seeks to develop its capabilities and boost academic, research, development and training cooperation in the university through fruitful international cooperation projects with international universities according to the strategic priorities and 2030 Saudi Vision.
