Maha Haddioui of Morocco scored 4 hits below par, bringing her total results "on average", after she had finished the first day with 4 beats above average, which put her among the list of qualified for the final stage, becoming the first Arab woman to qualify for a final stage in the Aramco International Women's Championship under the umbrella of the Ladies European Tour. Meanwhile, Alice Hewson, England, gave a strong performance in the last rounds of competition, to finish the day in the lead by scoring 9 under par, ahead of Finland's Sanna Nuutinen, who finished second with 8 under par, while the third place went to Sweden's Caroline Hedwall and Julia Engstrom, and New Zealander Lydia Ko, who led the first day of the tournament.
