Manama, October 7, 2021, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the Houthi terrorist militia’s recurrent, deliberate and systematic targeting of Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued by the Bahraini Foreign Affairs Ministry, Bahrain strongly deplored the targeting of the airport with a booby-trapped drone, in clear and explicit violation of the international humanitarian law and all global norms, commending the vigilance and readiness of the Coalition Forces to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen for being able to intercept and destroy the drone. The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the firm stance of Bahrain in strongly supporting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the measures it is taking to confront the Houthi attempted hostile attack to defend its security, stability and territorial integrity.
