Saudi Arabia Ranks atop of G20, in terms of Digital Competitiveness

Riyadh, Sep 8, 2020, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first among the G20 member states, in terms of competitiveness, during the last three years, according to the World Competitiveness Report, issued by the European Center for Digital Competitiveness. The report was based on the World Economic Forum‘s report, in this regard. Such an achievement is a fruit of the backup, empowerment and direction paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to the communications and information technology sector, through the previous 10-Year, a fact that realized in the quantum leap made by the Kingdom, at the level of the digitally-administered infrastructure, promoting digital potentials and huge digital enterprises and projects, in addition to the applicable mature digital-wise laws and legislations. The report mainly gauged the steps and achievements on the two pivotal yardsticks, the first is: Digital shift environment, including venturing capitals‘ investments, easiness of business performance and the digital skills of the youth.
