Riyadh, May 19, 2021, SPA -- The Official Spokesman of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) Captain Mohammad Al-Nujaidi said that the security follow-up of activities of criminal networks, which plan to smuggle narcotics into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has resulted in foiling an attempt to smuggle 2,700,000 Amphetamine tablets, hidden inside the roof of a truck trailer, in cooperation with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Jeddah Customs. Captain Al-Nujaidi said that the three members involved in the case were arrested, including Sudanese and Syrian nationals and a displaced person.
