Jordanian Health Ministry: Age to Receive COVID-19 Vaccination Reduced to 12 Years

Amman, Jul 24, 2021, SPA -- Jordanian Ministry of Health decided to reduce the age to receive Covid-19 vaccination to 12 years, starting Sunday, without prior appointment. In a press statement on Saturday, the ministry said vaccination will be administered "optionally" using Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, specifically for recipients under the age of 18, with consent of the guardian.
