Aden, Aug. 31, 2021, SPA -- An inspection team, affiliated to Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) was briefed on the progress of work of a KSrelief-funded project to establish and rehabilitate a number of schools in Aden Governorate in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The team, including Yemeni Ministry of Education’s Undersecretary for the Projects and Equipment Sector Dr. Mohammed Omar Baslim, was detailed on the progress of construction work in the targeted schools and the remaining stages. Following the tour, Baslim stated that the project included adding classrooms and buildings to other existing schools in Aden, which would contribute to reducing overcrowding in classrooms, noting that the project would benefit displaced students in the governorate. KSrelief has supported 16 schools in the governorates of Aden, Hadramout and Lahj, as part of a project to improve access to education services in Yemen, aiming at ensuring the continuity of educational services there, reducing the student overcrowding in public schools, and integrating displaced students in Aden into public education. --SPA 20:07 LOCAL TIME 17:07 GMT 0031 www.spa.gov.sa/w1612021
