Jeddah, May 21, 2021, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has highlighted its participation within World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, which falls on May 21 of each year, to encourage dialogue between all civilizations and cultures based on respect and mutual understanding. The Kingdom's participation aimed at promoting convergence and openness to human cultures. The Kingdom, represented by the Ministry of Culture, is exerting efforts to serve culture and sustainable development in a way that avails the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030., which believes in the power and preservation of culture and cultural heritage, implementing ambitious initiatives to develop the Saudi cultural sector. The Vision has set the development of culture as an essential part of its development goals. World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development provides an opportunity to deepen peoples' understanding of cultural diversity values and support the four objectives of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
