Hail, September 29, 2020, SPA -- The College of Nursing at the University of Hail (UoH) has obtained the approval of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in the United States of America to inaugurate a chapter in the college, being the first accredited branch of Sigma in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Dean of the College Dr. Hamdan Al-Baqawi said that this step comes within the framework of establishing partnerships with prestigious institutions and scientific societies to contribute to developing the performance of health practitioners to reach the highest professional standards. He added that this step will also provide various educational and training programs to develop the skills and capabilities of the nursing staff. Sigma provides various services including continuous education, training programs, scientific journal databases, in addition to supporting scientific researches.
