Amman, June 17, 2020, SPA -- Saudi ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sidairi met at his office in the embassy in Amman today with Arab group ambassadors accredited to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the attendance of senior protocol officials of the Jordanian foreign ministry. At the outset of the meeting, ambassador Al-Sidairi welcomed the ambassadors, lauding the close ties binding their countries and peoples with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people. He highlighted his country’s positions towards a host of Arab and international issues currently of concern to all of them, citing the Kingdom’s keenness on achieving stability in the region, giving an account on its continual efforts in support of Arab and Islamic issues, topped by the Palestinian cause, and vowing support of Saudi Arabia for the Hashemite sponsorship over Islamic and Christian sanctuaries in Al-Quds. Al-Sidairi confirmed that forging a unified front to fight the joint health, social and economic threats currently poised by coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic is an absolute priority for the Kingdom, citing the instructions of the G20 leaders virtual conference, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on 26 March 2020. --SPA 00:18 LOCAL TIME 21:18 GMT 0025 www.spa.gov.sa/w1352114
