Riyadh, May 30, 2020, SPA -- Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest donor to the humanitarian plans in Yemen and its response to the first donor conference for Yemen in 2015 is only evidence of that. He pointed out that the humanitarian needs of the Yemeni people constitute a priority for the Kingdom, praising the deep and common historical, religious, economic and social relationships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen. This came in a press statement stated by Dr. Al Rabeeah to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on the occasion of the Kingdom's organization, in partnership with the United Nations, the virtual donors conference for Yemen 2020 next Tuesday. He also expressed his hope the conference will enjoy attention from the international community and donor countries worldwide, despite the economic crisis and the Coronavirus pandemic, and that the goals of the conference would be reflected on the ground in Yemen. --More 12:44 LOCAL TIME 09:44 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w1339735
