Closing of the Arab Ranks, Priority for the KSA -- President of Pan-Arab Parliament Says

Makkah, Dec 31, 2019, SPA -- Closing of the Arab ranks is a top priority for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since its inception by the Founder-King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, up to the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Pan-Arab Parliament Dr. Mishaal Al-Salami announced here today, pointing to the Kingdom putting of Arab countries' topics atop of its agenda. Through shouldering a leading role to best serve Arab causes, he added, the Kingdom proves, over and beyond, honoring that commitment. Addressing a symposium held by the Law and Islamic Studies' Faculty, at Umal Qura University here today, under the motto: the Kingdom Efforts to Best Serve Arab World Causes. The role played by the Kingdom to in establishing the Arab League, proceeding from the faith of its leaders, in the significance of supporting all endeavors exerted to close the Arab ranks to the challenges and variables confronting the region, especially through tangible efforts to combat terrorism and deviant thought, in all forms and manifestations, to guarantee Arab collective national security, he elaborated. He concluded by summing up the Kingdom aspects of supporting Arab causes, taking the side of the Palestinian people to attain its legitimate rights and establishing the independent Palestinian state, with Al-Quds (Eastern Jerusalem) as its capital, in addition to adopting that cause and advocating for it, in all world arenas, to support that cause and to foil all plots aiming at distorting the Islamic features and Arab identity of Al-Quds city. -- SPA 18:41 LOCAL TIME 15:41 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1238155
