Minister of Culture announces launch of first cultural scholarship program in Kingdom

Riyadh, Dece 30, 2019, SPA -- Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, has announced the launch of the first cultural scholarship program in the history of the Kingdom, which provides specific educational opportunities for Saudi male and female students, through studying cultural and artistic specializations in the most prominent international universities, in areas including archeology, design, museums, music, theater, filmmaking, literature, visual arts and culinary arts, within the framework of the comprehensive development being witnessed by the cultural sector in the Kingdom, for the academic levels "Bachelor, Master, and PhD. It is worth noting that registration for the cultural scholarship program begins on January 19, 2020 via a comprehensive online platform. Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan also stated that education is the main pillar on which the cultural sector will be built in the Kingdom, noting the great support to the cultural sector from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
