Hanover, Apr 18, 2020, SPA -- The plane carrying 47 unaccompanied minors from refugee camps in Greece to Germany reached Hanover on Saturday morning. They are now heading to the Osnabrueck region to spend 14 days in quarantine as part of the measures to contain the coronavirus, before being allocated to different parts of Germany. The group is made up of 42 children and 5 young people, four of whom are accompanying younger siblings, according to the federal and state interior ministries. Four of the children are girls. "I am pleased that we are able to receive the first unaccompanied children today, despite the seriousness of the coronavirus crisis," says German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer. --SPA 14:29 LOCAL TIME 11:29 GMT 0010 www.spa.gov.sa/w1309404
