Ramallah, December 10, 2019, SPA -- On behalf of the Palestinian people and the leadership, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas welcomed the distinguished, historical and permanent positions of the Gulf Cooperation Council states in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is East Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Palestine, and the firm position issued by the Gulf Summit held today in Riyadh regarding the illegality of settlements. President Abbas saluted the position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in support for the Palestinian issue, especially East Jerusalem.
