Kabul, Ramadan 5, 1438, May 31, 2017, SPA -- The death toll in Kabul's diplomatic enclave tanker bomb explosion Wednesday has reportedly rose to at least 80 people and laying waste to buildings in what officials called Afghanistan's biggest bombing this year. Some 463 others were wounded, Wahidullah Majroh, a spokesman for the Afghan Public Health Ministry, told dpa. The incident took place in an area of Afghanistan's capital that houses several foreign embassies, Afghan Interior Ministry officials said. Pictures posted on social media showed fires and plumes of smoke, shattered windows and victims being taken from the scene, where many Afghan government offices are also located. Fifty vehicles were also destroyed in the blast in Kabul's central Zanbaq Square, according to the ministry. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. --SPA 22:23 LOCAL TIME 19:23 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w418603
