Montreal, Jumada II 18, 1438, March 17, 2017, SPA -- One pilot was killed and another seriously injured after their small planes collided over a busy Canadian shopping mall on Friday, officials and local media said. According to dpa, a witness told the Toronto Star he had seen pieces of plane rain down onto the car park of the Promenades Saint-Bruno mall 25 kilometres south of Montreal. "I saw the shadow of the plane on the parking lot, and I heard the motor so low to the ground and then a loud boom," said Nheil Martinez, a construction worker who was renovating part of the mall. A police spokeswoman said one plane had crashed on the mall's roof and the other in the car park. Police later confirmed via Twitter that the dead pilot was a man aged 21, while the pilot injured in the plane which crashed on the roof was aged 23. No one else was on board the planes and no one on the ground was injured. --SPA 07:49 LOCAL TIME 04:49 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w355997
