Wellington, 06 Rabi'I, 1438,December 05, 2016, SPA -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 degrees on the Richter scale has hit South Island area in New Zealand, ten kilometers southeast of the city of Sidon at a depth of 12 kilometers. It was followed by another earthquake with a magnitude of 3 degrees on the Richter scale, 25 kilometers south of the city of Hastings at a depth of 12 kilometers.
