Khartoum, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 24, 1438, August 16, 2017, SPA -- Sudanese Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Ghandour received here today the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Felipe Grandi, who is currently on a visit to Sudan. During the meeting, the High Commissioner stressed that the international community appreciates Sudan's contribution to the limited resources of the refugees and that more support should be provided for Sudan, which bears this grave responsibility on behalf of the international community. The meeting also dealt with the return of Sudanese refugees from Chad, implementation of the tripartite agreement between Sudan, Chad and the United Nations, as well as the creation of an environment conducive to the return of these refugees, especially after the security and stability achieved in Darfur during the last period. -- SPA 20:27 LOCAL TIME 17:27 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w467721
