Custodian of Two Holy Mosques receives President of Equatorial Guinea and holds official talks

Jeddah, Sha'ban 14, 1438, May 10, 2017, SPA -- The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah today visiting President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea. Then, they held a session of official talks during which they discussed aspects of bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all fields. Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on political consultations and a general agreement for cooperation between the foreign ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the foreign ministry of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea were co-signed by Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani, minister of state for foreign affairs, on behalf of the Kingdom, and Agapito Mba Mokuy, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, on behalf of the west African country. The talks and signing ceremonies were attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Meteb bin Abdulaziz, minister of state and member of the Cabinet and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; and senior protocol officials as well as the accompanying delegation of the Guinean president.
