Momani told the Jordanian news agency that according to the arrangements reached in Amman, the ceasefire will be agreed along the lines agreed by the Syrian regime forces, its associated forces and the Syrian opposition armed forces. The three sides agreed that the cease-fire would be a step towards a permanent reduction of escalation in southern Syria, ending hostilities, restoring stability and allowing humanitarian access to this central region of Syria. Al-Momani said that the three countries affirmed that these arrangements will contribute to finding an environment conducive to reaching a lasting political solution to the crisis. It also affirmed commitment to work on a political solution through the Geneva process and on the basis of UN Security Council Resolution 2254 to guarantee Syria's unity, independence and sovereignty. -- SPA 23:12 LOCAL TIME 20:12 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w441657
