Tokyo, 15 Jumada II,1438 AH, 14 March,2017 , SPA -- Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Obaid Madani said that the official visit currently being paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Japan emanates from the strong bonds of friendship between the two countries aimed at enhancing relations and developing them to broader horizons to serve their common interests. The Minister said in a press conference held here today with a number of Japanese media on the sidelines of the official visit by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques met today with Emperor Akihito of Japan at his palace in the Japanese capital Tokyo, where he received from the Emperor the Medal of "Daisy flower." He pointed out that the King held yesterday evening constructive talks with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, and also met the Japanese Foreign Minister and the Minister of trade and economy, noting that the talks held by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the Prime Minister characterized by deep mutual understanding and they exchanged views on ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries and intensify cooperation in all fields. --More 16:19 LOCAL TIME 13:19 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w353142
