Makkah, Ramadan 27, 1437, July 02, 2016, SPA -- Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of Central Hajj Committee has been briefed on a report on the efforts of the Governorate and relevant authorities during Umrah season in the holy month of Ramadan. The report pointed out that King Abdulaziz International Airport receives the largest number of Umrah performers coming to perform Umrah rituals, where the number of arrivals of Umrah performers through the airport during Ramadan was (645,000 ) and the number of departures around (265,000) until 22/09/1437 AH on board 2400 coming flights and about 1,500 departing flights. The report indicated that Jeddah Islamic Port received 11 ships during the holy month of Ramadan until 22/09/1437 AH and 11 ships left the port during the same period, noting that the port is provided by all services that facilitate the procedures of the arrival and departure for Umrah performers. --SPA 18:07 LOCAL TIME 15:07 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
