Deputy Police Chief Michael Harrington and two of his colleagues stand accused of accepting bribes worth tens of thousands of dollars from businessmen including trips, prostitutes, hotel stays and home renovations since 2012. In return, the police officers allegedly provided private police escorts, approved and expedited gun licenses and settled private disputes.
