OIC holds Ramadan breakfast party for Rohingya community in Malaysia

Jeddah, Ramadan 14, 1437, Jun 19, 2016, SPA -- Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has held a Ramadan breakfast party for Rohingya community in Malaysia in the attendance of more than 500 persons, mainly the Rohingya refugees in Malaysia. During the event, which took place yesterday at Osman bin Affan mosque in Kuala Lumpur, the Director General of the OIC Secretary General's court Dr. Yousef Al-Othemeen, who is also the special consultant of the organization, said in a speech on behalf of OIC Secretary General Iyad bin Amin Madani that OIC supports the humanitarian efforts aiming to reducing the suffering of the Rohingya community, thanking the efforts being exerted by the OIC special envoy for Myanmar Dr. Tan Sirri Sid Humaid Al-Barr and the Malaysian authorities who provide necessary support for the Rohingya refugees in Malaysia.
