Secretary General of GCC condemns terrorist bombings that targeted two churches in Egypt

Riyadh, 12 Rajab 1438H corresponding to 09 April 2017 SPA -- Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, strongly condemned the terrorist bombings that targeted two churches in Tanta and Alexandria, Egypt, and resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of innocent civilians in places of worship, describing them as a horrible crime that is incompatible with moral and human values. The Secretary General expressed solidarity of the GCC countries and their full stand with the efforts of the Egyptian government to confront and fight terrorists and eradicate this dangerous scourge that threatens the societies, their social fabric and national unity, stressing the urgent need for concerted international efforts to combat terrorism and eliminate its extremist organizations.
