Brussels, Jumada II 7, 1438, Mar 6, 2017, SPA -- The Head of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula Michèle Alliot-Marie, underscored here today the significance of European Union (EU) and the 6-member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). During a session held here today, dedicated for discussing the situation, in Yemen, she confirmed importance of bilateral relations binding the two blocs, not only, in terms of economic ties, but also for political as well as strategic relationships. The current situation, in the Arab Peninsula and the neighborhood will have gruesome regional and world fall-outs, alike, pointing to the importance of prioritizing coming close and tackling developments, in order to give a hand in settling the crisis, in Yemen, proceeding from such a firmly-established fact and reiterating backing up of Yemen, through providing it with aid for civilians and the war affected and eventually getting out of the dilemma, as soon as possible.
