Paris, Rabi'II 14, 1438, Jan 12, 2017, SPA -- French far-right leader and presidential candidate Marine Le Pen was seen in Trump Tower in New York on Thursday in an unannounced stopover at the headquarters of US president-elect Donald Trump, dpa reported. Le Pen, sitting with three men in the basement of the tower, declined to say whether she was meeting with Trump. Speaking to French broadcaster BFMTV early Thursday, Le Pen spokesman David Rachline also declined to say whether she would meet with Trump. Le Pen's travel to New York was of a private, and not political, nature, Rachline said. Le Pen, the leader of the eurosceptic, anti-migration National Front party, is in the midst of campaigning for the French presidential elections that are slated to be held in April and May. Polls show Le Pen likely making it to the second round of the elections. British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson also made a stop at Trump Tower earlier this week, meeting with Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and the president-elect's chief strategist, Steve Bannon, before heading to Washington to meet with lawmakers. -- SPA 23:12 LOCAL TIME 20:12 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w311626
