Yemen: 60. The Supreme Council reaffirmed its full commitment to the unity of Yemen and respect for its sovereignty and independence and reject any interference in its internal affairs. 61. The Supreme Council expressed its deep appreciation to the State of Kuwait for host the peace consultations between the Yemeni parties under the auspices of the United Nations, which began on April 21 and ended on August 7, 2016. 62. The Supreme Council stressed that the formation of a national salvation government which called political council in the Republic of Yemen between Houthis and followers of Ali Abdullah Saleh is transgressions of the constitutional legitimacy which internationally recognized, and puts obstacles in the way to reach a political agreement. 63. The Supreme Council expressed its appreciation of the international efforts to support consultations between the Yemeni parties and the convergence of views among them. 64. The Supreme Council affirmed its support for the efforts of the Special envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, for the success of consultations between the delegation and the legitimate government and militias al-Huthi and followers of Ali Abdullah Saleh. 65. The Supreme Council commended the positive and constructive stances of the delegation of legitimacy of Yemen during consultations in Kuwait to make it a success. 66. The Supreme Council stressed that the coalition to support the legitimacy of Yemen is the largest donor of humanitarian aid to the Republic of Yemen during Operation Restore Hope. 67. The Supreme Council briefed on the efforts undertaken by the General Secretariat in cooperation and coordination with the legitimate government and the World Bank and the United Nations in the run-up and preparations for the International Conference for the reconstruction of Yemen 68. The Supreme Council welcomed the first report issued on August 15, 2016 of the National Committee to investigate allegations of human rights violations in Yemen which was formed by presidential decree from President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, which ruled out the use of the Arab coalition of internationally prohibited weapons. Iraq: 69. The Supreme Council renewed his commitment to the unity of brotherly Iraq and its sovereignty and independence, territorial integrity, and his refusal to intervene in the internal affairs of Iraq. 70. The Supreme Council expressed its support for the Government of Iraq in the liberation of Mosul, from the armed organization ISIS. 71. The Supreme Council stressed the importance of strengthening links between Iraq and its neighbors in accordance with the principles of good neighborliness and respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs, expressing regret over the statements of some Iraqi officials and the media about some of the GCC countries and the use of the territory of the Republic of Iraq for training and smuggling of arms and explosives to the Member States. 72. The Supreme Council recalled the Security Council Resolution (2107) issued on 27/6/2013, which decided unanimously to refer prisoners and missing persons and Kuwaiti property and national archive file to the United Nations Mission (UNAMI) to follow up on this file. Libya: 73. The Supreme Council welcomed the outcome of the ministerial meeting on Libya, which was held in New York on September 22, 2016, which confirmed its support for the government of national reconciliation in Libya as the sole legitimate government in the country, according to the resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations in 2259 and 2278. 74. The Supreme Council stressed the keenness of the GCC countries on the security, stability and unity of the Libyan territory and support for efforts to fight ISIS. Lebanon: 75. The Supreme Council congratulated President General Michel Aoun on his election as president of Lebanon, and Saad Al-Hariri as named prime minister, wishing success for them in their duties. Rohingya Muslims: 76. The Supreme Council condemned the systematic violations against the Rohingya Muslim in Myanmar and the continued racial discrimination and violations of human rights policy, and the Supreme Council renews upon the international community, especially the Security Council, to find a quick solution to this issue in the framework of the resolutions of Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations . The Supreme Council expressed its deep appreciation and gratitude to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, the current chairman of the Supreme Council.
