Stuttgart, Germany, Dhu-AlQa'dah 13, 1437, August 16, 2016, SPA -- A rescue is under way to bring to safety a pilot whose ultralight aircraft crashed in a tree, forcing him to spend the night there, police in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg said Tuesday, according to dpa. The man, who is uninjured, is stuck in a tree top 25 metres off the ground and rescue workers are trying to stabilize the aircraft before bringing him down, a police spokesman said. If that strategy fails, the pilot will be rescued by helicopter. The reason for the crash in a wooded area near the town of Schwaebisch Gmuend is not clear at this time, police said. --SPA 15:26 LOCAL TIME 12:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
