Following the meeting, the 5th GCC-Turkish Joint Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue issued a statement which highlighted strong relations binding the two sides. Th ministers stressed the joint desire to enhance cooperation between them. The ministers discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the regional and international issues of common interest. In the field of joint cooperation, the ministers expressed satisfaction regarding 5th session of the strategic dialogue between the GCC-Turkey. They agreed to extend a current joint work-plan between the GCC states and Turkey until 2018. The ministers agreed of holding 3rd meeting of investment and trade work team during 2017 in Turkey, stressing their keenness to enhance trade and investment between the two sides.
