Arar, Saudi Arabia, Rajab 18, 1438, Apr 15, 2017, SPA -- Border guard patrols at northern border have successfully foiled a trafficking attempt of 119,000 amphetamine narcotic pills into the border, it was reported here today. Commodore bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, spokesman of the border guard, said a vehicle was monitored coming from the Jordanian direction. At about 10 km inside the Saudi territories, a man armed with a dagger disembarked from the vehicle and started walking for some distance. He showed resistance to the patrol when he realized he was cordoned from all directions and tried to use his weapon and flee. Finally, using fire, the patrol empowered him.
