Dresden, Germany, Sha'ban 17, 1437, May 24, 2016, SPA -- A major European train line linking Germany to the Czech Republic has partially reopened after a landslide blocked a 150-metre-long section of the track, a spokeswoman for Deutsche Bahn said, according to dpa. She said operations resumed later on Tuesday afternoon, after heavy rains caused the landslide overnight. The situation only worsened after a freight train ploughed into the debris that had fallen on the tracks at the German-Czech border. Germany's national train operator, Deutsche Bahn, said that 11 long-distance train connections were cancelled as a result of the deluge, and several other services were subject to delays. --SPA 22:22 LOCAL TIME 19:22 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
