Makkah, 25 Sha'ban, 1437, June 01, 2016, SPA -- King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah, represented by the cardiac catheterization unit, has managed to make the first planting of an electric shock device under the skin in the Ministry of Health hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new device contributes to reducing the rate of complications of side effects of the electric cardiac devices to zero per cent, unlike previous devices that do not have large complications, but they could pose a threat to some pathological cases. Consultant of Cardiac systems and electricity Dr. Mohammed Alhanshel said that the device prevents many complications that may occur as a result of insertion of wires in the heart, as in the case of the existing devices which are not considered a big risk, but they are not free from complications that may affect some cases as an outpatient kidney failure, but this device prevents the presence of inflammation within the heart or blood and aerial clots on the lungs. --SPA 14:17 LOCAL TIME 11:17 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
