Ameen Hassan Al-Nasser, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), called for entering a new historical stage in terms of activating investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Peoples Republic of China in the field of energy, in addition to forming a strategic partnership towards a diverse and more efficient economy based on knowledge and innovation, as this was established during the meeting held by Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Chinese President Xi Jinping two months ago in Riyadh. This came in a speech delivered by Eng. Ameen during his participation in China Development Forum 2016 held in Beijing, which came following the 13th five-year development plan approved by the Chinese central government last week amid major challenges facing the global economy. The forum was attended by Chinese ministers and government officials and heads of Chinese and international companies. Eng. Ameen highlighted the perceptions of Saudi Aramco on common points and several opportunities for joint growth, pointing out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Peoples Republic of China are witnessing significant economic transformations.
