Jakarta, Dhu-AlQa'dah 1, 1437, Aug 4, 2016, SPA -- Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia who is the Chairman of Indonesian Mosques Association, Mohammad Yusuf Kalla opened today, a seminar on "The role of mosques in the face of deviant thought" organized by the Association in collaboration with Indonesian Al-Azhar Foundation, here today in the presence of the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, currently on a visit to the Republic of Indonesia. At the beginning of the seminar, the Indonesian Vice President delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of mosques and their great prestige, as places of worship and education, not a place of differences, extremism or terrorism.
