Sydney, Shawwal 12, 1437, July 17, 2016, SPA -- Australia is ready to sign a free trade deal with Britain once it leaves the European Union, said Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull Sunday, according to national broadcaster ABC. Turnbull told reporters he had spoken for the first time with new British Prime Minister Theresa May and told her Australia was keen on moving quickly to establish new free trade agreements, dpa reported. He said talks with May on a possible new free trade agreement with Britain had been constructive. "Britain won't be out of the EU for several years - of course, that is the expectation at any event - but we need to get working on the new trade arrangements between Britain and Australia, as indeed Britain will need to undertake that work with many, many other countries," Turnbull said, the broadcaster ABC reported. --SPA 16:04 LOCAL TIME 13:04 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
