Moscow, Safar 13, 1438, November 13, 2016, SPA -- Moldovans headed to the polls on Sunday in a runoff vote for the first direct presidential election in 20 years, with the pro-Russia candidate seen as the likely victor over his pro-EU opponent, dpa reported. Pro-Russia candidate Igor Dodon received almost half of the votes in the regular election two weeks ago, but because no candidate garnered a majority, the election headed to a runoff. Pro-EU candidate Maia Sandu was in second place with about 40 per cent of the votes. --SPA 12:48 LOCAL TIME 09:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w268462
