Riyadh, Safar 16, 1438, November 16, 2016, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre signed here today three executive programs to support the World Food Program projects in Syria, Palestine and Ethiopia amounting to US $ 12 million. The aid comes as an implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to help people who are affected in the disaster-hit countries. The agreement was signed by Advisor at the Royal Court General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, and ,on behalf of the World Food Program, Director of the World Food Programme office in GCC states Abdullah Al-Wardat. These executive programs target more than (1,200,000) beneficiaries in Syria to provide a variety of food items in the besieged areas, 20 thousand beneficiaries in the Gaza Strip to provide electronic food to the needy families as well as providing food assistance to more than 127 thousand beneficiaries in Ethiopia. --SPA 17:17 LOCAL TIME 14:17 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w270792
