Saudi Arabia, China Sign MoU to Build 100,000 Housing Units in Al-Ahsa

Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 27, 1437, Aug 30, 2016, SPA -- Majed bin Abdullah Al-Huqail, Minister of Housing, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese Deputy Minister of Trade Qian Keming in the field of housing between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the People's Republic of China. The MoU was signed on the sidelines a visit paid by the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to the People's Republic of China. Al-Huqail also signed a memorandum of cooperation between the ministry and Ningxia Region in the People's Republic of China to develop Al-Asfar outskirts in Al-Ahsa Province and build 100,000 housing units.
