The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the Kingdom's position towards Syria, saying "There are only two solutions in Syria, a political or a military solution, and both of them lead to the removal of Bashar al-Assad, who has killed 400,000 innocent people, displaced 12 million and destroyed a country. He has no place in this country. The Kingdom's position is firm and in support of brothers in Syria and aims to create a new future for Syria that maintains its territorial integrity and gives all segments of the society their rights. In response to a question about the political vacuum in Lebanon, Minister Al-Jubeir said, "In Lebanon, there is a political vacuum caused by Hezbollah supported by Iran. Both of them refuse that there is a consensus to find or choose a president in Lebanon. The blame is on Hezbollah, which is the disrupting party of this topic and does not aim for the interests of Lebanon, but it seeks for Iran's interest''. HE added, "The whole world realizes the negative role that Iran is playing in the region and that it supports terrorism and has established sectarian militias to destabilize security and stability in Arab countries, and the world knows that Iran has troops in Syria and Iraq involving in sectarian fighting and it smuggles explosives into the Arab Gulf states and weapons to Yemen.
