Baghdad, Sha'ban 20, 1437, May 27, 2016, SPA -- Ammar Al-Hakim, Chairman of the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council, received here yesterday Thamer Al-Sabhan, Saudi ambassador to Iraq. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the two countries. In a statement issued by the council, the Chairman of the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council has lauded opening headquarters of the Saudi embassy in Iraq, stressing that this is a step to open aspects of cooperation between Iraq and the Kingdom which plays an important Islamic and Arab role in the Middle East.
