Paris/Bucharest, Ramadan 08, 1437, June 13, 2016, SPA -- Two Romanian football fans have been detained after fan groups of two rival Bucharest clubs clashed with one another in Paris at Euro 2016, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Monday, according to dpa. Nine fans in total were arrested initially with the others being released shortly thereafter, the ministry said. The conflict started, according to the officials, when the head of the Dinamo Bucharest fan club was beaten up in public by numerous Steaua fans. The Romanian daily Prosport reported that the Dinamo fans later tracked down and attacked the Steaua fans at a Paris bar. No one was seriously injured, according to the report. The man who attacked the Dinamo fan club leader reportedly is a rugby player with Steaua and is one of the two hooligans being detained. --SPA 23:02 LOCAL TIME 20:02 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
