In a press statement following the meeting, Al-Jubeir explained that the visit of Bangladeshi Prime Minister to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia comes within the framework of consultation and coordination between the two countries to promote relations in a number of areas, referring to the desire of both countries to deepen ties in the security, military, economic and political fields. He said that the Kingdom looks forward to build strong ties with the friendly Republic of Bangladesh, which has a history of cooperation and coordination with the Kingdom, citing that Bangladesh was the first country to join the Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism and extremism. He added that the Kingdom appreciates the Republic of Bangladesh so much, pointing out that Bangladesh has strong ties with the Kingdom, and has always been supportive with the Kingdom in the international and regional forums.
