King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid has undertaken these responsibilities of funding and supporting in efforts to provide a continuation of health services in Yemen and rehabilitation of the sick, the injured and the wounded through supporting Yemeni government agencies and in coordination with specialized agencies in the field of health and international organizations in accordance with the work of its executive programs. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has implemented more than 20 medical programs to help the Yemeni people benefitting more than (15,982,060) Yemenis included the provision of more than 823 tons of medicines and medical supplies, and equipping a number of hospitals and health centers in collaboration with more than 12 international and regional organizations at a cost of approximately (89,673,236) USD. King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid in cooperation with the Arab coalition operation broke the siege of Taiz by dropping 40 tons of medical and relief assistance in January 13, 2016 at different locations in the province of Taiz and continued its operations after that until the total dropped amount reached 140 tons of medical and relief materials. --More 15:46 LOCAL TIME 12:46 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
