Berlin, Shawwal 05, 1437, July 10, 2016, SPA -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel is convinced that Britain's decision to leave the European Union will become a reality once a new prime minister is elected to succeed the outgoing David Cameron, according to dpa. "I am dealing with the realities and I am most certain that this motion will be put in place," Merkel told broadcaster ZDF on Sunday, referring to Article 50, the get-out clause that will initiate two years of exit talks between the bloc and Britain. "They will first do that when they have a new prime minister as far as I can see," the chancellor said. UK Home Secretary Theresa May and Vote Leave campaigner Andrea Leadsom are vying for Cameron's job, after the prime minister announced his resignation following his failed campaign to stay in the EU. --SPA 22:45 LOCAL TIME 19:45 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
