UNITED NATIONS, Rajab 27, 1437, May 4, 2016, SPA -- The United Nations said Wednesday that the Syrian government is refusing appeals to deliver aid to 905,000 people including in Aleppo, the city at the center of violence over the past two weeks. "We seem to be having new possible besieged areas on our watch; we are having hundreds of relief workers unable to move in Aleppo," U.N. humanitarian advisor Jan Egeland told reporters after a weekly humanitarian meeting of countries supporting the Syrian peace process. "It is a disgrace to see that while the population of Aleppo is bleeding their options to flee have never been more difficult than now," Egeland said. --SPA 19:30 LOCAL TIME 16:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
