Tunis, Rabi'I 24, 1437, January 04, 2016, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council strongly denounced all provocative acts and Iran's hostile policy against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued here today, the General Secretariat said, "This infringement on the inviolability of the Saudi diplomatic missions, storming them and tampering with their contents prove the flagrant disregard for all international laws and diplomatic norms, as well as disregard for Islamic teachings and principles of good neighborliness." The Secretariat expressed its firm condemnation of all these heinous acts, which are part of a long history of attempts by Iran to undermine the security of the Arab countries, ignite the fire of sectarian strife and provide support for terrorist organizations. The General Secretariat recalled the statement - it issued after the 30th session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council - and which included firm rejection of any external attempt to undermine the security of any Arab country and condemnation of the logistical support provided by Iran to terrorist operations in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Yemen. The General Secretariat renewed its full support for the actions taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to fight terrorism and ensure the security of its citizens and the rest of the Arab peoples, and valued all efforts exerted to bolster peace and security in the Arab world, the region and the world. --SPA 00:42 LOCAL TIME 21:42 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
